Privacy

Most PlainUtils tools process everything locally in your browser. Text, JSON, encoding, date, colour, UUID, JWT, hashing, regex, and minification inputs are not sent to PlainUtils servers.

Network tools

DNS Lookup sends the domain and record type to Google Public DNS. IP Location Lookup sends the entered IP address to ipapi; “use my IP” also contacts ipify. Their privacy policies apply to those requests, and each affected tool displays a notice.

Analytics

PlainUtils uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic without cookies or cross-site tracking. Tool inputs are never included in analytics events.

Storage on your device

Your theme, favourites, and recently used tools may be stored in browser local storage. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data.
